From Scientific Leadership to Enterprise Strategy: Dr. Bakhos Tannous Expands His Role
Melhem Holdings is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Bakhos Tannous as Senior Presidential Advisor for Strategy and Scientific Affairs, expanding his leadership responsibilities beyond Melhem Scientific and into the broader strategic vision of Melhem Holdings.
In this additional role, Dr. Tannous will work directly with President Nehme Gerges Melhem, serving as a senior counselor on enterprise strategy, scientific and healthcare initiatives, institutional development, global partnerships, innovation, and long-term growth. He will help translate the President’s vision into strategic priorities while advising on major opportunities and initiatives across the expanding Melhem enterprise.

His career has demonstrated the ability to bring together multidisciplinary teams, develop emerging leaders, and transform ambitious scientific ideas into programs with meaningful potential for human impact.
His expanded appointment also carries profound personal significance for President Melhem.
