The agreement was formally executed in Washington, D.C. by Mr. Nehme G. Melhem, President and Group Executive Chairman of Melhem Holdings and President of Melhem Medical Technologies, and Ms. Ziyi Yang, President of Shanghai Xinhao International Trade Co., Ltd., marking the beginning of a significant strategic partnership between two organizations committed to advancing healthcare innovation through international collaboration.
Structured as a 50-50 joint venture, Melhem Xinhao Medical Technologies will operate as an independent entity dedicated to developing, commercializing, manufacturing, distributing, and deploying next-generation healthcare technologies and solutions across China, the United States, and international markets.
The new venture will focus on a broad range of high-growth sectors, including medical devices, biotechnology, artificial intelligence-driven healthcare solutions, digital health platforms, telemedicine technologies, healthcare software, hospital and laboratory technologies, healthcare infrastructure, medical education technologies, and emerging healthcare innovations.
Under the terms of the partnership, Melhem Medical Technologies will contribute its expertise in healthcare innovation, artificial intelligence, digital health, international partnerships, regulatory strategy, research collaborations, and global commercialization initiatives. Shanghai Xinhao International Trade Co., Ltd. will contribute its extensive capabilities in manufacturing coordination, supply chain management, sourcing, logistics, distribution infrastructure, and strategic market access throughout China and the Asia-Pacific region.
