On this day, 23 years ago, the world stood still. I was a young boy, but the memory of that moment remains vivid. Like so many others around the world, I watched in disbelief as the twin towers fell, unaware that the weight of that day would forever change how we perceive safety, resilience, and unity.
9/11 was a profound reminder of how fragile life is and how quickly the world can change. It was also a testament to the strength of the human spirit. In the face of unspeakable tragedy, we saw countless acts of courage, compassion, and solidarity.
As I reflect today, I am reminded of how deeply interconnected we all are. The ripple effects of that day are still felt in our communities, our policies, and our global relationships. But in the aftermath, we also learned how important it is to come together, support one another, and build a world where such devastation never occurs again.
To those who lost loved ones, the brave first responders who gave their all, and the many who continue to carry the scars—both seen and unseen—we remember you. We honor your resilience. Today and always, we stand united.
